Thanks to Larry & Dee from Wildwood Cottage for another great time.

My old dad and I have been prospecting for a number of years, and recently we've been out to stay at Wildwood Cottage a few times. This has very quickly become our favourite destination for gold mining and prospecting.

We love to go fossicking on and around the creek that runs through Larry & Dee's lovely property. Each time we've stayed for about a week.

We have found the hospitality of Larry and Dee to be tremendous. They've always ensured we had a full stock of firewood and that we were comfortable. Larry has showed us around his property and talked us through some of the great history of the area and the locations on the property itself.

We've always found gold on the property, no question of that. We've found more gold in each trip there than we'd found anywhere else we'd been - mind you, we're amateurs to say the least.

If you want a comfortable place to stay, right on the gold, Wildwood Cottage at Ophir is really a gem in the rough. We'll be back for certain.
